Industrial wire cloth and wire screen can be woven from a great variety of metals and alloys. For the purposes of tolerances as woven, the following metals are applicable:

            - aluminum (5000 series); 
            - brass;
            - low and high carbon steel;
            - copper;
            - monel;
            - nickel;
            - phosphor bronze;
            - stainless steel of 300 and 400 series.
