The strength of the structure is provided by the resistance forces arising from the deformation of the wire. For the production of mesh our factory use stainless wire of round section including pre-crimped one.

ISO 9044 This International Standard defines terms regarding manufacturing woven wire fabric for separation purposes and specifies maximum permissible error, requirements, and test methods. It applies to manufacturing stainless steel, steel or non-ferrousor roll with square apertures. Assistance in choosing sizes of main measurements is given in ISO 4783-2.
ASTM E2016 This USA standard covers manufacturing woven wire fabric for general use including the separation of particles. Woven wire mesh can be made of any primary metal or metal composites wire that is suitable for weaving.
ISO 4783-1 “Guide to the choice of aperture size and wire diameter combinations — Part 1: Generalities”. Similar standard of UK — BS 7372-1:1991.

ISO 2194 This International Standard specifies the designation and nominal dimensions of openings for products, as woven wire mesh, perforated plate and electroformed panel used as separation media for manufacturing purposes. Similar standard of UK is BS 7579:1992, which defines the specifications for designation and nominal opening sizes, perforated plates, and electroformed sheets, providing guidance for their use in material separation applications.
