Non-ferrous copper-based wire cloth, wire mesh and fabric
Wire cloth made from copper alloys are flexible and strong, have high thermal conductivity, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. Non-ferrous metal wire mesh and fabric are used in industry for filtering and separating particles, for cleaning liquids as well as control and laboratory sieves, protective screens in electrical engineering and instrument making.
The most popular copper-based alloys that are used to make mesh are copper C10200 (BS: C103) and C12500 (BS: C104), phosphor bronze (C51900 (CuSn6), low brass C24000 (CuZn20).
