In industry, epoxy-coated meshes are used as an element of oil, air and hydraulic filters. This type of wire mesh is also widely used in the domestic sphere - epoxy mesh is used to cover window and door openings to protect against insects and small animals.
The epoxy composition is applied to the wire mesh after weaving, so the intersections of the wires receive additional fixation, which allows the cells to better retain their shape. The coating can be made in different colors, which creates additional aesthetic appeal, which is why mesh is used by designers to decorate interiors and exteriors.

16x14 mesh (wire dia. 0.2 mm, approx. aperture after coating 1.4x1.6 mm),
18x14 mesh (wire dia. 0.18mm, approx. aperture after coating 1.2x1.6 mm),
18x16 mesh (wire dia. 0.18mm, approx. aperture after coating 1.2x1.4 mm);
22x20 mesh (wire dia. 0.16mm approx. aperture after coating 1x1.1mm).
It is recommended to use mesh coated with epoxy resin at a temperature of no more than 180 C.
