  • Main application the wire cloth is used for liquid and gas filtration, including in aggressive environments and at high operating temperatures; for filtration of solutions, melts, liquids and gases; for dehydration and drying for producing of filters and filter elements for hydraulic and lubrication systems, filter elements and separators for liquids, parts of filter materials and replaceable cartridges;
  • Standard ASTM E2814
  • Nominal micron retention * 195-205 µm
  • Absolute micron retention 250
  • Nominal aperture celdas cero (es decir, no existen aberturas, los alambres de la trama están fuertemente presionados entre sí, lado a lado).
  • Theoretical mass of 1 sq.m mesh 3.1 kg
  • Warp mesh count and tolerance 14 wires per 1 inch cloth width tolerance: ±2%
  • Weft mesh count and tolerance 88 wires per 1 inch cloth length
    tolerance: ±4%
  • Warp wire diameter 0,50
with a tolerance of ±0,010mm due the mechanical deformation of warp wire during weaving, the diameter measured after weaving can only be used as a guide to the original nominal diameter
  • Weft wire diameter 0,32
with a tolerance of ±0,010mm due the mechanical deformation of weft wire during weaving, the diameter measured after weaving can only be used as a guide to the original nominal diameter
  • Width 1000 mm.
    Width tolarance: ±1%
  • Theoretical thickness 1.13 mm
  • Delivery form wire cloth is rolled on a cardboard tube. Roll diameter is 22(±5) cm.
  • Selvage the mesh is made with cut edges
  • Package rolls are packed in kraft paper and/or plastic film, loaded into plywood cases or formed on pallets. For small orders, each roll can be packed in an individual cardboard case 1200x170x160mm. Any special packaging must be specified and agreed with the supplier

Material

  • Standard for material chemical composition according to EN 10025-1
  • Density 7.85 g/cm3
  • Basic properties Low-carbon wire is the most common and cheapest alloy of ordinary steel used in the production of industrial wire cloth screens due to its tensile strength and high impact resistance. They mainly consist of iron, the most commonly used grades 1005, 1006 and 1008 with a low carbon content and contain a small percentage of carbon (0.0-0.1%), manganese (0.0-0.5% - which increases strength) , phosphorus (0.0-0.04%) and sulfur (0.0-0.05%). Poor abrasion resistance and poor corrosion resistance may limit use in certain applications, but a variety of special protective coatings can be applied to improve resistance. Galvanizing (before or after) is the most economical way to protect against corrosion. As an alternative, a protective tin coating is often used on mud screens (canning mill). In addition, steel wire fabric can be protected with epoxy coatings, PVC/vinyl coatings and our electrostatic powder coating.
  • Comparative corrosion steel does not have corrosion resistance
